Looks like A'la Fu is first out to bat with some new material, although we will be releasing the first singles as a trip tych series, we've already heard A'la Fu's contribution and we are more eager to get the ball rolling. Check the releases section to find out more.* |

At VaVa HQ today we spoke with one of our favourite artists Roughe* (http://www.roughe.com) and A'la Fu has managed to persuade him to grace us with some special cover art for our first three releases. We here are very happy indeed and are excited about the results. Check his site on the above link. |

On a recent flight to London to perform before Roots Manuva at his 5,000 sell out crowd at Brixton Academy, BA staff were allegedly giving an already 'pretty fueled' A'la Fu a wee ticking off. After an unsuccesful attempt by a steward to wake two gentlemen who were sleeping either side of him, Mr. Fu ably assisted with the words, "wake up cocker, we're going down... brace, brace", reportedly using his best lancashire accent.
Probably not what you want to hear waking up on a plane. In his defence however the plane was delayed which meant more time in the bar beforehand which was never going to help matters. |

Can we recommend the newly released Lo Tek Hi Fi album released last month from Big Dada. Other than the A’la Fu connection (he did the wonderous cuts for ‘What You See’) we think ‘Mixed Blessings’ is the best in so called Urban Black Music of the year thus far. |

| Congrats and best wishes to Don Kazek as he moves into his dream mansion like home out into the fresh air of the country side. With apparently enough room to house, well anything you want really, he is currently re building his studio. It’s also been mentioned that he’s building a wee room for A’la Fu in his garage so they can get down to work on the We Yo Nee album. About time we think… |
